Los próximos 24 y 25 de mayo, San Miguel de Salinas se transforma en un punto de encuentro lleno de vida, creatividad y tradición con la celebración del Mercadillo “Los Caprichos” en el emblemático Parque Los Pozos.
Este evento nace con una clara misión: fomentar, apoyar y dar visibilidad al comercio local, ese que forma parte de nuestro día a día, que da identidad a nuestras calles y que representa el esfuerzo de quienes han apostado por emprender en San Miguel de Salinas.
Además de disfrutar de una amplia variedad de puestos con productos únicos, artesanías, gastronomía y curiosidades, los visitantes tendrán la oportunidad de conocer de cerca las historias que hay detrás de algunos comercios. Empresarios y emprendedores locales compartirán su trayectoria, experiencias y cómo han logrado hacer realidad sus negocios, en un espacio donde no solo se vende, sino también se inspira. Porque cada pequeño negocio tiene una gran historia que merece ser contada.
Durante todo el fin de semana, el Parque Los Pozos se llenará de actividades para todas las edades, con talleres creativos, animación infantil, juegos tradicionales, música en vivo, espectáculos y mucho más. Niños, jóvenes y mayores podrán disfrutar de un ambiente festivo, familiar y acogedor, ideal para pasar un buen rato y fortalecer los lazos entre vecinos.

A weekend to enjoy, share and support the local commerce of San Miguel de Salinas
On the 24th and 25th of May, San Miguel de Salinas will turn into a meeting point full of life, creativity and tradition with the celebration of the market «Los Caprichos» at the emblematic Parque Los Pozos.
This event was born with a clear mission: foment, support and give visibility to local commerce, which is part of out daily life, gives identity to our streets and represents the effort of those who decided to start a business in San Miguel de Salinas.
Apart from enjoying a great variety of stands with unique products, handcrafts, gastronomy and curiosities. The vivitors will have the oportunity to listen to the stories behind some of the stores. Local business owners and entrepreneurs will share their trayectories, experiences and how they have turned their dreams into reality, in a space where they don’t only sell but also inspire. Because every small business has a great story that deserves to be heard.
During the whole weekend the park «Los Pozos» will be filled with activities for everyone, creative workshops, children’s entertainment, traditional games, live music, live shows and much more. Children, adults and elders will be able to enjoy a festive, familiar ambience ideal to have fun and spend time with neighbours.

¡San Miguel ya cuenta con una sede de la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer! San Miguel now has a branch of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC)!
We are proud to announce that our town now has a new space dedicated to care, support, and hope—thanks to the tireless work of the AECC and its local president, John O’Brian.
This new branch has a clear purpose: to be close to those facing cancer and their families, offering psychological support, guidance, prevention, and all the help they may need.
From the Town Hall, we want to express our heartfelt thanks to John, his team, and all the volunteers who make this project possible.
And also to all the residents who stopped by during the Mercadillo de los Caprichos to learn about this initiative and show their support.

Through the lens of the four seasons, the main character dives into experiences that challenge societal norms, exploring her freedom and deepest desires.
